Welcome to Clifford TCG.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Clifford TCG.
Clifford TCG operates this website and online store, including the information, content, features, tools, products and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”).
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer our products and Services to you.
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Returns Policy and any other policies referred to within them, explain the terms on which you may access our website and purchase products from Clifford TCG.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order.
Nothing within these Terms is intended to restrict or exclude any statutory rights that you may have under applicable UK consumer law.
By accessing or using our Services or placing an order with Clifford TCG, you agree to these Terms and our applicable policies.
SECTION 1 – USING OUR WEBSITE & YOUR ACCOUNT
You must use our website and Services only for lawful purposes.
When creating an account, placing an order or otherwise providing information to Clifford TCG, you agree that the information supplied by you is accurate, current and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
You should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without your permission.
You may not sell, transfer, assign or otherwise provide your customer account to another person without our permission.
Where a person under the age of 18 uses our Services, they should do so with the permission and appropriate supervision of a parent or guardian where required.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
Clifford TCG sells trading cards, sealed trading card products, graded cards, collectibles, accessories and other related products.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, condition information and other product details are accurate.
However, the appearance and colour of products may vary slightly depending upon your device, screen settings, lighting and photography.
Images may occasionally be used for illustrative purposes where clearly indicated.
For products where the exact item pictured is the item being sold, such as certain singles or graded cards, we will endeavour to make this clear in the product listing.
Product descriptions, availability and specifications may be updated where necessary.
We reserve the right to discontinue products and to impose reasonable purchase quantity limits where appropriate.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to applicable consumer law.
SECTION 3 – PRODUCT CONDITION & COLLECTIBLES
Trading cards and collectible products can naturally vary in condition.
Where Clifford TCG assigns a condition to an individual card or collectible, that condition represents our reasonable assessment of the item.
Customers should review product descriptions and photographs before purchasing.
Minor manufacturing imperfections may occur on sealed trading card products, including small marks, wrapping variations or packaging imperfections originating from the manufacturer.
Where a significant known defect or packaging issue exists, we will endeavour to disclose it in the product description.
The market value of trading cards and collectibles may rise or fall after purchase. Clifford TCG does not guarantee the future value, collectability, grading outcome or investment performance of any product.
SECTION 4 – ORDERS
When you place an order through Clifford TCG, you are making an offer to purchase the products contained in your order.
Receipt of an automated order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.
An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or otherwise begin fulfilling the order, subject to applicable consumer law.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment activity;
- purchase limits have been exceeded; or
- we are legally unable to fulfil the order.
If payment has already been taken for an order that we subsequently cancel, the appropriate amount will be refunded.

SECTION 5 – PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices displayed on the Clifford TCG website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change from time to time. Changes will not normally affect orders that have already been accepted, except where permitted by law in cases such as an obvious pricing error.
Applicable delivery charges are displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided when placing your order.
Payment processing may be provided by Shopify Payments or other third-party payment providers. Their applicable terms and privacy practices may also apply.
SECTION 6 – PRICING & LISTING ERRORS
Despite our best efforts, products may occasionally be listed with an incorrect price, description, image, stock quantity or other information.
Where we identify an obvious error before accepting or dispatching an order, we may contact you to provide the correct information and give you the opportunity to continue with or cancel the order.
Where appropriate, we may cancel an affected order and issue a refund.
Nothing within this section limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
SECTION 7 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Available delivery services, estimated delivery times and applicable charges are displayed at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you discover an address error after ordering, please contact us promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to amend the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once fulfilment has begun.
Responsibility for goods during delivery will be determined in accordance with applicable UK consumer law. We do not seek to transfer delivery risk to a consumer merely because an order has been handed to a delivery carrier selected or arranged by Clifford TCG.

SECTION 8 – CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
Eligible consumers purchasing online may have statutory cancellation rights.
For eligible purchases, customers may notify Clifford TCG that they wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving their goods, followed by a further 14 days in which to return the goods after notifying us, subject to applicable law and any relevant exceptions.
Customers are responsible for return postage for change-of-mind returns unless otherwise required by law or agreed by Clifford TCG.

Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory rights.
SECTION 9 – RESTOCKING & DISCRETIONARY RETURNS
Clifford TCG does not impose a standard restocking fee simply because a consumer exercises a statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase.
Where permitted by law, an appropriate deduction may be made if the value of returned goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Where a return falls outside a customer’s statutory cancellation rights but Clifford TCG agrees, at its discretion, to accept the return, a 10% restocking fee may apply.
Any such fee will be communicated before the discretionary return is accepted.
No restocking fee will be applied where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise do not conform to your statutory rights.
SECTION 10 – SEALED PRODUCTS
The sealed condition of trading card products can form an important part of their collectible nature and value.
If you intend to return a sealed product, please do not unnecessarily open, alter, damage or remove its original seals or packaging.
Where applicable law provides an exception to cancellation rights for a particular sealed product once its seal has been broken, we may be unable to accept a change-of-mind return after that seal has been broken.
This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to your statutory rights.
If you believe you have received an incorrect or damaged sealed product, please contact Clifford TCG before opening it wherever reasonably possible.
SECTION 11 – DAMAGED ORDERS
Customers should inspect deliveries promptly after receipt.
If an order appears to have been damaged during transit, you must notify Clifford TCG within 24 hours of delivery wherever reasonably possible.
When reporting transit damage, please provide your order number and clear photographs of:
- the damaged product;
- the internal protective packaging;
- the external shipping packaging; and
- any visible damage and delivery labels where possible.
The product and all original packaging should be retained until the matter has been investigated and resolved.
Prompt notification enables us to investigate the damage and, where appropriate, raise a claim with the delivery provider.
The request to notify us within 24 hours does not affect your statutory rights.
SECTION 12 – FAULTY, INCORRECT OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS
If goods are faulty, not as described, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to conform to your statutory rights, please contact Clifford TCG as soon as reasonably possible.
We may request photographs or other reasonable information to help us investigate the issue.
Where applicable, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with UK consumer law.
Nothing within these Terms limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods.
SECTION 13 – REFUNDS
Eligible refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
Where required following a valid statutory cancellation, the appropriate standard outbound delivery charge will also be refunded.
Where a customer selected a more expensive enhanced or express delivery service, we may not be required to refund the additional amount above our least expensive standard delivery service.

SECTION 14 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the Clifford TCG website design, branding, original text, graphics and other original content created by or for Clifford TCG are owned by or licensed to Clifford TCG and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party trademarks, product names, artwork and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
References to Pokémon, trading card manufacturers, grading companies and other third-party brands are used only where appropriate to identify or describe genuine products and do not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.
You may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit Clifford TCG’s original website content or branding without permission, except where permitted by law.
SECTION 15 – THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & LINKS
Our Services may include functionality provided by third parties, including payment providers, delivery providers, review platforms, analytics services and other ecommerce tools.
Third-party websites and services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Where our website contains a link to a third-party website, Clifford TCG is not responsible for the content or operation of that independent website.
Please review the relevant third party’s terms before using its services where appropriate.
SECTION 16 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Clifford TCG is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online Services to you.
However, purchases made through the Clifford TCG store are made directly with Clifford TCG.
Shopify provides the ecommerce platform and associated technology but is not the seller of the Clifford TCG products you purchase from us.
Your use of certain Shopify-provided functionality may also be subject to applicable Shopify terms and privacy practices.
Nothing in this section affects any rights or remedies you have against Clifford TCG as the retailer of products purchased from us.
SECTION 17 – PRIVACY
Personal information collected through our Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Because our store is hosted using Shopify, Shopify may process certain personal information in connection with your use of the store and the provision of its ecommerce services.
Other service providers may also process information where necessary to provide services such as payments, delivery, fraud prevention and communications.

SECTION 18 – CUSTOMER REVIEWS & FEEDBACK
If you submit a product review, testimonial, suggestion, photograph or other feedback to Clifford TCG, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.
You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, obscene, infringes another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights, or contains malicious software.
Where you submit feedback or reviews for publication, you grant Clifford TCG permission to display, reproduce and use that material for purposes connected with operating and promoting Clifford TCG and its Services, subject to applicable law.
We may moderate or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms or applicable law.
You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you submit.
SECTION 19 – PROHIBITED USES
You must not use our Services:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- to infringe the rights of Clifford TCG or another person;
- to transmit malicious software;
- to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems;
- to interfere with the security or operation of our Services;
- to collect personal information unlawfully;
- to send spam or other unauthorised communications;
- to impersonate another person; or
- to engage in conduct that could reasonably damage our Services or other users.
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been materially breached.
SECTION 20 – AUTOMATED ACCESS
Automated systems, bots, scraping tools or similar technologies must not access or interfere with our Services in a way that places an unreasonable burden on our systems, circumvents security controls, unlawfully collects data, interferes with other customers or otherwise breaches applicable law.
We may implement reasonable technical measures to protect the security, availability and integrity of our Services.
This provision does not prohibit lawful indexing by legitimate search engines or other automated activity that we expressly permit.
SECTION 21 – AVAILABILITY OF OUR WEBSITE
We aim to keep our Services available and functioning correctly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security updates, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, modify or discontinue website functionality where reasonably necessary.
SECTION 22 – LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a consumer’s statutory rights.
To the extent permitted by law, Clifford TCG will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we do not exclude liability where doing so would conflict with applicable consumer protection legislation.
SECTION 23 – SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 24 – WAIVER & ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If Clifford TCG does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with the policies referred to within them and any specific terms applying to a promotion or transaction, form the agreement between you and Clifford TCG concerning your use of the Services and purchases from us.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
SECTION 25 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.
The current version will be made available on this page.
Where required by law, material changes will be communicated appropriately.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under an existing contract.
SECTION 26 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and contracts between Clifford TCG and consumers are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections provided by applicable law.
