Pokémon TCG October 2026 Releases: 30th Celebration, Delta Reign & More
October has apparently looked at Pokémon collectors' bank accounts and taken it personally.
New 30th Celebration products.
New Battle Decks.
More ways to open booster packs.
And before the month is over, the prerelease for Mega Evolution—Delta Reign begins too.

October 2026 is shaping up to be another busy month for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, so we've pulled together the major releases collectors and players should know about.
Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Continues
Pokémon's 30th anniversary celebrations aren't slowing down.
The 30th Celebration expansion launched worldwide on 16 September 2026, bringing more than 150 cards, a Classic Collection celebrating cards from Pokémon TCG history and 30 different Pikachu rare illustrations.
October brings another wave of products containing cards from the anniversary expansion.
So if September didn't already do enough damage, October has arrived to finish the job.
30th Celebration Booster Bundle
Sometimes you don't need sleeves, dice, dividers, coins and seventeen other things rolling around inside a box.
Sometimes you just want packs.
The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Booster Bundle keeps things simple with six 30th Celebration booster packs.
For collectors primarily interested in opening the expansion, Booster Bundles provide a straightforward way to get more packs without buying one of the larger boxed products.
And because each 30th Celebration booster pack contains one of the set's 30 Pikachu rare cards, there's another reason collectors may find themselves opening considerably more packs than originally planned.

30th Celebration Mini Tins
These could be particularly interesting for collectors who like the packaging as much as the cards inside it.
There are 10 different 30th Celebration Mini Tin designs.
Each Mini Tin contains:
- 2 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs
- 1 sticker sheet
- 1 Pokémon art card matching the tin artwork
But there's another reason you might end up wanting more than one.
The artwork from the 10 tins can be combined to create two larger images — one themed around daytime and another around night.
Which means Pokémon has effectively looked directly at completionists and said:
“Go on then. You know you want all ten.”
Pokémon TCG Mini Portfolio
October also brings a new Pokémon TCG Mini Portfolio.
The portfolio can hold up to 60 Pokémon cards and comes with a Pokémon TCG booster pack.
It's a smaller and simpler storage option for collectors who want somewhere to keep a selection of cards rather than carrying around an enormous binder.
Just don't fill it with unsleeved expensive cards and then throw it into the bottom of a backpack.

Enhanced 2-Pack Blister
Another October release is the Pokémon TCG Enhanced 2-Pack Blister.
It includes foil cards featuring:
- Gengar
- Marshadow
- Team Rocket's Mimikyu
You'll also get a plastic coin and two Pokémon TCG booster packs.
And yes.
Gengar has somehow found his way into another Clifford TCG blog.
At this point he may as well have staff access.

Pokémon TCG Deck Crafter's Collection
Not everything arriving in October is aimed purely at collectors opening packs.
The Deck Crafter's Collection is designed to help Pokémon TCG players build and improve playable decks.
It includes:
- 1 foil Meowth ex card
- 39 tournament-ready Trainer cards
- A Deck Crafter's Guide
- 9 labelled card dividers
- 1 Pokémon TCG booster pack
For someone beginning to build their own decks rather than simply collecting cards, this is one of October's more practical releases.
30th Celebration Battle Decks: Espeon ex & Umbreon ex
Two particularly recognisable Eeveelutions are also joining the 30th anniversary celebrations.
The new 30th Celebration Battle Decks are led by Espeon ex and Umbreon ex.
Each contains an all-foil 60-card deck designed to be ready to play.
The Espeon ex deck also includes an illustration rare-style promotional card featuring Victini, while the Umbreon ex version includes one featuring Zeraora.
Umbreon collectors reading this have probably already stopped listening and started looking for one.
Delta Reign Prerelease Begins 24 October
And then things get interesting.
The next major Pokémon TCG expansion, Mega Evolution—Delta Reign, officially launches on 6 November 2026.
But prerelease events begin at participating Play! Pokémon Stores from 24 October 2026.
That means some players will be opening and playing with Delta Reign cards before October is finished.
The prerelease uses a Build & Battle Box containing a 40-card ready-to-play deck and four Delta Reign booster packs.

What Should Collectors Watch This October?
There isn't really one October product that makes sense for every collector.
If your priority is opening 30th Celebration booster packs, the Booster Bundle keeps things straightforward.
If you enjoy collectible packaging, the 10 Mini Tin designs offer something completely different.
Players may be more interested in the Deck Crafter's Collection and Battle Decks.
And anyone already looking towards November will probably have Delta Reign on their radar.
As always, buy the products that actually fit the way you collect rather than assuming you need every release.
Unless you're collecting all ten Mini Tins.
