Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign – Everything We Know So Far
The next major Pokémon TCG expansion is on the horizon, and Mega Evolution—Delta Reign is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases of 2026.
Launching on 6 November 2026, Delta Reign puts Mega Rayquaza ex firmly in the spotlight, alongside a host of new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Trainer cards, special illustrations and a brand-new Legendary Stadium mechanic.
Mega Rayquaza Returns
For many Pokémon collectors, Rayquaza needs little introduction.
The legendary Dragon and Flying-type Pokémon has been responsible for some of the most recognisable cards in Pokémon TCG history, and Delta Reign brings Mega Rayquaza ex back to the Pokémon TCG.
It won’t be alone either. Pokémon has confirmed that the expansion will also feature Pokémon including Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex.
New Delta Reign Cards Revealed
Pokémon gave collectors another preview of the set on 21 September, revealing several cards we’ll be able to pull when Delta Reign arrives.
The latest preview included Heat Rotom ex, Groudon, Kommo-o and Delibird, alongside the Trainer card Zinnia’s Trust.
And there’s plenty more still to discover.
Delta Reign will contain more than 135 cards, with special illustrations and plenty of cards likely to find their way onto collectors’ chase lists.
Legendary Stadiums Are Coming
One of the most interesting additions in Delta Reign is the introduction of Legendary Stadiums.
Rather than a traditional single Stadium card, the new mechanic uses two Stadium cards played together. When combined, the cards create an extended piece of artwork while introducing new possibilities for Pokémon TCG gameplay.
Pokémon says booster packs containing a Legendary Stadium will include both halves needed to create it, so collectors won’t have to hunt for each side separately.
When Does Pokémon Delta Reign Release?
The official Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign release date is 6 November 2026.
The expansion will be available through products including booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and other Pokémon TCG collections.
With Mega Rayquaza returning, new special illustrations to chase and the introduction of Legendary Stadiums, Delta Reign has plenty going for it before we’ve even seen everything the expansion has to offer.
Will You Be Collecting Delta Reign?
Whether you’re planning to rip packs on release day, hunt down your favourite singles or keep some sealed for the collection, Delta Reign looks set to be a big finish to the Pokémon TCG’s 2026 release calendar.
We’ll be keeping an eye on new card reveals and Delta Reign products as we get closer to release.
